The families of the Levy Lakeside School community recently stepped up for an important cause. In conjunction with Student Council, Lakeside collected 350 toys donated by families and community members through the school’s Toys for Tots drive. The Student Council Crew was amazed at all the toys they were able to bag and pass on to the local chapter of Kiwanis to help local families who are less fortunate.
“This alone made us very grateful that we could do something that made such a difference in the lives of our neighbors,” said Jack, a member of the Lakeside Student Council Crew. “We were honored to know that we could take away some parents’ worries and help put a smile on their faces. We hope everyone had a great holiday season and we wish all the Merrick families a happy and healthy 2018!”
